Summer has come and gone

It all happened in about five weeks. June & July were very cool here in Minnesota, not that I was complaining. The high temps were in the 70's, the evenings were up 50's to low 60's. Lovely window-down weather, awesome play outside weather. And then August arrived and warmer temperatures. And Shanna returning to school with Galen to start soon after. Summer was nice while it lasted.

OK, I know it's not really over. Tomatoes are just beginning to ripen, mosquitoes are biting, the windows are closed and the AC is on, and the sweet corn is delightful. Galen still has one more week at the YMCA summer camp. We have things to do and food to eat.

And play, we still have more play in our future...
