Mobility

Galen's been flirting with crawling for awhile now. He'll get on his hands and one knee. A few times he made it to all-fours, but promptly collapse - until yesterday.

In the afternoon, shortly after Shanna got home and delivered the afternoon supplement, she placed him on the floor. He was freshly nursed, napped, and was one happy dude. Problem was that Natasha wasn't in grabbing distance. So he reared up, and took several jerky "steps", and reached Natasha. Now that last shuffle was more properly a dive, he fell forward that last bit. But no matter, he shuffled & crawled for real.

I do have one cabinet secured with 1st Safety's Tot Lok. Very effective in my humble opinion. Time to get a few more secure - the ones with glass, sharp things, and bad chemicals (are there good ones?).

We don't have any dimensional updates; things such as length, weight and such. He next visit is in the third week of August. I'll post up then.

So far his favorite food seems to be a tossup between carrots and sweet potatoes. Peas are a big yuck. We've kept him to veggies so far, no fruit yet. He has tried to grab my beer, would that count as a fruit or veggie?

Tot Lok is what we use here too! Its still working for Drake and Kenzie--although I do see Kenzie running the magnet over the cabinet trying to figure out how it works! Love you guys--it was great to see you when you came home to Indy!
